Description
- Used in the systemic treatment of susceptible infections.
- It contains amoxicillin (an antibiotic from the penicillin group of medicines) mixed with clavulanic acid.
- The clavulanic acid stops bacteria from breaking down amoxicillin, allowing the antibiotic to work better.
- May be taken with or without food.
- May be given w/o regard to meals.
- Best taken at the start of meals for better absorption & to reduce GI discomfort.
- Each tablet contains 500 mg of Amoxicillin and 125 mg of Clavulanic Acid.
- Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
